Forum What’s the easiest lizard pet?

My son is obsessed with reptiles and I’d love to get him a lizard. I’ve never had one so I have no idea what’s involved in caring for them – are there any low-maintenance lizards that are great for kids (under 10)?

  • A friends nine year old has a pet lizard and loves it. I’m sorry that I don’t know the breed but it is creamy yellow and not large (at this stage). They have it in a large fish tank with rocks, sand and logs and he seems very content. They get him out often.

  • Bearded dragon is the most fun, they are all much the same to care for
