Eeek! Just the idea of a pet snake is enough to give me goosebumps! I know many get fed rats but i think the best way to find out more information, is definitely contacting pet shops that sell reptiles etc. they would be able to give you the best advice on what they need and best way to raise them. How exiting! I personally haven’t had a pet snake before but I frequently visit a pet store that has a large variety of snakes and tanks etc I’ve come around to seeing them as a cute and curious pet! The stores should be able to help guide you with exactly what you need but generally you need a glass tank that has a lockable lid and is 2/3 the length of your new snake. You will need a heat Matt or lamp, bedding, hiding spots, water dish, lighting and food.
