I don’t judge how a dog lives at all, I grew up with an outdoor dog and I knew no different. We have inside dogs but I really think it’s just what your personal preference is. One of my dogs is a barker so it wouldn’t be fair to the neighbours if we left him outside at night lol

Both of my dogs are outdoor dogs. In winter (we live in Tassie) we bring them in to sleep in the laundry at night as it is too cold outside overnight. We then kick them out again in the morning. They are perfectly happy that way and honestly, the laundry reeks when we have them in there, I wouldn’t want that inside all the time.

Definitely agree that it might be a breed thing. All the dogs in our family are smaller dogs so they sleep inside. Some have managed to claim a part of the bed!

I think it depends on the breed or your family situation as well! I dont think there is a real right or wrong here. You do what works for you and your family. My dog has always been an inside dog but hes a small cute and fluffy little boy!
