I make sure my dog rides in a proper size-adjusted harness belt rather than just a collar when in the car. It gives much better control (especially when we brake suddenly) and avoids pressure on his neck if he shifts around.

What kind of setup do you use for car rides — harness, crate, boot or back seat?

We’ve tried those lead attaching seatbelts before but at the moment I’m not a big fan because finding the right length and comfortability is a pain. They work fine if our dogs ride in the boot but just not in the back seat etc
