To change it up a little from kibble I try and make a big pot of meat, veggies and rice. I freeze it flat in sandwhich bags so they fit nice and easy into the freezer and the defrost quickly

We rotate supermarket food of different varieties, kibble, dog logs and tins etc. We also buy two large fresh bones each week and chickens necks as treats.

I tend to rotate what my dogs eat because I feel like I wouldn’t want to eat the same food over and over again. We give them kibble, looking for good quality ingredients with meat as the first ingredient and minimal fillers

I have two Newfies, one of which who gets a yeasty skin rash from chicken so we have to spend a heap on non-poultry based dry food as there isn’t many available as most use chicken as a cheap filler. Call of the Wild is our go to. I usually add a stew of pumpkin, sweet potato, zucchini and chuck beef on top too to add some extra nutrients for them.

Im not sure about everyone else’s but mine can be picky when it becomes too repetitive! We definitely try to change it up after they finish off a bag (we buy large ones). But keep it similar enough that it isnt upsetting their tummy.
