Hello!

My dogs love visiting dog parks and we have a great one within walking distance. It seems to be a great way for dogs to be able to interact with each other socially, or just have a little freedom. Interested in hearing what you do with your dogs.

  • We take our dogs to the dog parks but we always linger outside them for a little while to see how thr dogs inside are reacting at the fence etc. most of the time its regular people there so its easy to go in but I always like to check and make sure so as to avoid bad experiences

  • We have great dog parks around us that have two separate areas, one for big dogs and another for small.
My in laws have a dog park that you can reserve and use privately. Works wonderfully for their anxious pups

  • Im always so anxious when it comes to off lead parks as you just never know what sort of other dogs there are in the same space and whether it will trigger a fight. I do enjoy taking my dog out for walks and all but we tend to just see dogs ‘in passing’ rather than have him go wander

  • We do, we have two in town and they are very basic but our dog loves to socialise. Most dogs we come across are friendly but we always check them out before entering. People not picking up poo is always an issue though bags and bins are supplied by the council.
