Hello!

I have two newfoundlands, who are black and dark grey and white tiles..safe to say my floors are always covered in fur. I have been using a stand up Dyson pet for a few years but the battery is starting to not last long enough to do my whole house and it is getting clogged more frequently.
I’d like to buy an new stand up vacuum but am not sure.
Have anyone got nay suggestions? I have a Shark stand up mop/vaccum which I love but it can’t handle too much dog fur so I have to backup prior to use, so I am considering their stand up vacuum?

  • I have a Dyson stick vacuum. It’s really good for picking up fog fur. I also had a Dyson barrel with a motorised head that was brilliant for dog hair too. It blew up…..I really need to replace it

  • I have a kleenmaid stick vacuum and it is an absolute trooper. We have a large home and it can do the whole thing 3 times before needing a charge. Has a light on the head, and can bend to get under furniture. We have a very fur dropping animal and two adults with long hair who shed a lot of hair, it tackles it all with ease

  • We are in the market for a new vacuum and it’s interesting that you said the battery doesn’t always last for the whole house. That would be so frustrating when in the middle of a cleaning day. It’s something I will be aware of when we are shopping for a new one. Thanks.

  • Oh what gorgeous dog breed that is! I love my dyson but agree the battery can weaken over time. Ive heard rave reviews on the tineco brand and they constantly have great sales on them too, sometimes for half the price!

  • Awww! How cute! They must be so much fun! We have the opposite- white dog with black carpet lol! So I understand you!
My mum has tiles and has the shark vacuum, I think it’s called stratos and is very happy with it! It has a self cleaning brush head and her house always looks clean.
Hope you find something that stands up to all the black fur 🙂
