Best cat litter for controlling smell?

Hello!

Our cat litter positively stinks – has anyone found a good brand for masking the smell?

We use clumping cat litter and scoop everyday. We also have a second cat litter outside in our cat enclosure. We’ve tried so many brands but did not have much success for masking smell so got worn down to frequency of changing it.

I have recently changed to course wood shavings and noticed less smell. I also remove number 2’s as soon as possible.

I haven’t seen any that can do that. But I think here is the best thing – litter.
