The Dog Lovers Festival and Cat Lovers Festival 2025 promise a tail-wagging good time for all ages. Dog Lovers Festival Highlights

The Dog Lovers Festival 2025 runs from 23rd – 24th August in Sydney and 25th – 26th October in Melbourne. Here’s what to expect:

  • VitaPet Arena: Action-packed entertainment including the K9 Superwall, Mini Dog Races, and Temptation Alley
  • Meet & Greet Zones: Get up close with dozens of dog breeds in the Breed Showcase
  • ADVANCE™ Stage: Celebrity vets, trainers and experts including Shelley Horton and Dr Claire Stevens
  • Pat-A-Pooch Zone: Cuddle time with rescue pups and dogs of all shapes and sizes
  • Adoption Zone: Meet rescue groups and discover how to give a dog a forever home
  • Outdoor Festival Vibe: Food trucks, live entertainment, and family fun

Cat Lovers Festival Highlights

The Cat Lovers Festival 2025 runs from 23rd – 24th August in Sydney and 25th – 26th October in Melbourne. Exciting features include:

  • Cat Arena: Demos and shows featuring talented felines and their trainers
  • Meet the Breeds Zone: Chat with breeders and get to know over 25 cat breeds
  • The WHISKAS® Stage: Educational talks from feline experts including Dr Katrina Warren and US-based kitten rescuer and social media sensation Hannah Shaw, widely known as the Kitten Lady
  • Kitty Cosplay: Australia’s best-dressed cat lovers show off their feline flair
  • Adoption Zone: Find your future fur baby and meet amazing rescue groups
  • CatKwiz Live: Fun, interactive quiz for cat lovers of all ages

Prize Details

Thanks to the team behind the fabulous Dog Lovers Festival and Cat Lovers Festival, we have 5 double passes up for grabs for each of the following shows:

  • Sydney Dog Lovers Festival: 23rd – 24th August at the Sydney Showground
  • Sydney Cat Lovers Festival: 23rd – 24th August at the Sydney Showground
  • Melbourne Dog Lovers Festival: 25th – 26th October at the Melbourne Showgrounds
  • Melbourne Cat Lovers Festival: 25 – 26th October at the Melbourne Showgrounds

Each double pass is valued at $90 RRP and can be used for one day of your choice. Note, the double passes include entry to both the dog and cat shows on the same day.

Please note this competition is open from 1st July until 5th August 2025 and is only available to members of Best Pet Buys. Watching the dogs doing agilty things and having fun would be incredible. The kids so enjoyed the movie RUNT and are keen to go now that I’ve shown them this.
